URGENT MESSAGE FROM SOUTHWEST HERITAGE BANK

 

We have been made aware of bad actors impersonating SWHB employees in an attempt to compromise customer banking information. Some customers have reported receiving fraudulent text messages and others have received fraudulent phone calls.

Please know that our branches are on high alert and ready to assist any customers who reach out with concerns.

  • If someone claims to be from the Bank and asks for your personal information, do not share it unless you confirm directly with Southwest Heritage Bank it is legitimate.
  • The Bank WILL NEVER ask for your online banking username or password.
  • The Bank WILL NEVER ask for your 6-digit text verification code.
  • The best safeguard is to let the “bank employee” know that you are going to hang up the phone and then call the Bank directly using a known phone number.
